The company's experience in bursary software goes back to 1982 when an accounting system was designed for Harrow School. This has now evolved to ensure that the needs of the smaller schools are handled just as easily as those of the larger schools such as Harrow.

The latest range of software -  OASIS  - was released in 1993 as the first accounting system package available under a native Windows PC environment designed and targeted specifically to meet all the needs of the Independent School.

Beaver recognizes that support is a key component of any software system and is dedicated to ensuring that its users receive a courteous, timely and  effective response to any queries and advice they may need and any problems they may experience.

In achieving the above Beaver regards itself as being in partnership with its User Group with whom it has a unique relationship in that its support contract is with the User Group and not individual schools. This arrangement ensures that the users have a crucial and significant influence in the evolution, development and support  of the OASIS system, and that the same level of excellent service is provided to all schools, regardless of size or status.
